refund policy
Once you consider the option to purchase a service through STUNET every student his representative must be aware of the money that is refundable in the process and what is not. To do this, you must read this refund policy to understand and accept it. By accepting these refund policies before any deposit or payment, our procedure has to be unconditionally accepted. Therefore, there will be no room for discussion or objection once the process is initiated. Each student must visit our website and ask the company’s representative for a copy of this document and understand that they have freely decided to use the services of STUNET as an intermediary before the institutions, companies, embassies, insurance, service providers, or other companies with which they work. These policies are published on the website www.stunet.com.au and are available at all times to the public. It should be taken into account that these are the exclusive refund policies of STUNET, but each institution (education providers, insurers, accommodation companies, airlines, etc…) manages their refund policies which must be requested by the student, before making any payment. Both, STUNET’s Policies and the Policies of each Institution must be complied with when requesting any type of refund.
EDUCATION PROVIDER REGISTRATION: Once the student selects a study program, he/she will pay the STUNET the sum equivalent to $200 US for the registration of the chosen program. Payment must be made online on STUNET’s website or by the means indicated by the company. This value covers the initial administrative and operative process, which results in the registration of the education provider, from which the student can request a copy. This value is part of the general price, and therefore 100% payable to the study program. This payment implies that the process of studying abroad has begun, and in all circumstances is non-refundable.
Some institutions with which STUNET works request that the student initially make a partial payment of the tuition, material, and enrolment fees, while the visa is being processed. If this is the case, the STUNET representative will inform the student to make this initial partial payment, which corresponds to a percentage of the tuition fee and can range between 25% and 50% of the total cost, this depends on the criteria of each institution. The initial partial payment is an advance payment of the studies and the difference must be paid before the date the institution indicates in their offer letter. Conditions apply for reimbursement if the student desists to continue the process, different conditions apply for the reimbursement due to the fact every education provider has a different refund policy.
Some institutions with which STUNET works require confirmation of the total payment of the course tuition, before the visa application process. This payment may include “additional expenses” to the enrollment such as study materials, enrolment fee, airfares, airport reception, housing reservation, etc., and must be described in the institution’s offer. This total payment must be made at the time that the education or service provider indicates. The student must bear the bank transfer costs abroad, the transfer of the registration will be done by the student, and it’s the student’s responsibility to ensure that the rate conversions are correct. STUNET will be responsible for verifying that the transfer has been received correctly. The student must assume any missing amount of money that is generated by fluctuations in different currencies on the day of the transfer. This total payment is a guarantee to the STUNET of the decision to complete the registration process, and as such, it is an acquired commitment. Conditions apply for reimbursement if the student desists to continue the process, different conditions apply for the reimbursement due to the fact every education provider has a different refund policy.

For refund, the student must submit a written request for cancellation of the process and its respective refund to STUNET, and this will be made within a maximum period of six (6) months, after the date of having presented the letter and the company receiving the refund from the education provider.
